Grilled cheese isn’t necessarily known for it’s healthy qualities, but that doesn’t meanit needs to be completely eliminated from your diet. In fact, there typically isn’t a reason to cut out a certain food group or food item from your diet completely unless you are diagnosed with some kind of allergy.
Grilled cheese sandwiches might not be the most nutritious meal in the world, but they also won’t derail your diet as long as you are eating them in moderation.
Another great thing about grilled cheese sandwiches is how utterly adaptable they are. The bread, cheese and various other ingredients you decide to use can be swapped out for healthier options (or less healthier options), giving you the ability to completely control what goes into your sandwich and into your body.
