Hangover CureLast night’s party was great, but this morning’s hangover isn’t. Cure the nausea and pounding headache by hydrating yourself with this Hangover Smoothie!

The below smoothie may look like a simple green smoothie, but it is actually filled with ingredients to fight those hangover symptoms. Coconut water supplies much needed hydration, banana provides potassium and soothes any nausea while the plain Greek yogurt provides probiotics. Spinach and kale may give this drink an unsettling appearance, but the leafy greens aid in detoxing your body from the previous night’s events.

Hangover Smoothie Recipe

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ cup spinach
  • ½ cup kale
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey
  • ice, as needed

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
