Beets might not be everyone’s favorite vegetable but they sure do pack a nutritional punch. Beets not only provide nutrients and fiber but also help to reduce blood pressure, fight inflammation and even increase stamina and energy. In fact, studies have shown that when consumed before exercise, beet juice can improve exercise and muscle performance. This is due to the nitric oxide that is found in beets, which helps to reduce oxygen expense in the body, making beets a favorite amongst endurance athletes.

The sweet flavor of carrot juice helps to mask any earthy flavor from the beet that might be off putting, however the orange vegetable provides more than just flavor. Carrots are rich in vitamin C as well as beta-carotene, an essential antioxidant that is transformed into vitamin A in the body that helps to keep the immune system functioning properly.

Not often known for its nutritional prowess, celery is actually a fantastic source of antioxidants, enzymes, vitamin K, vitamin C, potassium and folate. Celery also provides fiber along with a high percentage of water and electrolytes, which helps to prevent dehydration, boost digestion and also aid in weight loss.
